The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Medical Center and New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in order to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.
We are currently searching for a full-time Attending Physician to work in our Medicine Department Palliative Care Division.Responsibilities include:
- Providing palliative care services in an outpatient and inpatient setting
- Participating in system-wide performance improvement and quality management projects as needed
- Providing education to residents and medical students as required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited medical school
- Current Board Certification in Palliative Care Medicine
- Current NYS License
- Cultural sensitivity to a diverse and under-served patient population
