Awards Luncheon

Join us in honoring the 2006 Awards of Excellence Recipients! Awards of Excellence along with the Carol Selinske Founder's Award will be presented to the 2006 award winners at the Awards Luncheon on Friday, March 31, 2006. For 2006, Awards of Excellence Recipients are nominated by their program directors based on published criteria, then selected by the Annual Meeting Committee (Awards of Excellence) and Governance Committee (Selinske award).

Concurrent Workshop Sessions

The 2006 concurrent workshops offer something for everyone! Eighteen (18) educational programs in three (3) concurrent workshop sessions offer topics in ethics, quality, pain and symptom management, open access, the latest in palliative care, staff renewal, bereavement, pediatric hospice and palliative care, and much more!

Exhibits and Exhibitor Cocktail Reception

There will be exhibitors from around the country displaying their latest products and services. On Thursday night, visit with old friends, view products and services and network with exhibitors. Hors d'oeurves and a cash bar will be offered! An additional opportunity to meet, view and network with the exhibitors is offered during breakfast on Friday, March 31, 2006.

Book Signing

On Friday, March 31, 2006, meet William H. Colby, the attorney who represented the family of Nancy Cruzan. The Cruzan case is the first right-to-die case heard by the US Supreme Court. Mr. Colby will have his book on hand: Long Goodbye: The Deaths of Nancy Cruzan
