The Annual Interdisciplinary Meeting and Seminar is the largest outreach effort by the Association each year. The annual meeting is held to promote the availability and accessibility of quality hospice and palliative care for all persons in New York State confronted with life-limiting illness. This year’s theme will have workshops and plenary sessions that focus on issues and topics that are important in the caring for the dying patient and the families who care for them. These workshops will focus also on the caregivers giving the care and how they can do the best job they can. Hospice nurses, physicians, social workers, bereavement counselors, administrators and other end-of-life team members will have the opportunity to network, learn and participate in thoughtful discussions to move their profession forward and work together.
